The Hollister Downtown Association enjoyed a summer movie series that helped promote local businesses throughout the downtown area. The Plaza History Association hosted its monthly movie series at the beautiful Old Mission San Juan Bautista. Their premiere movie was “Vertigo,” starring James Stewart and Kim Novak, which was filmed on site in 1958.
