Why should you host a movie night? Movie nights are proven traffic drivers. People attending the movie often show up hours beforehand to set up their chairs and blankets. This gives them the perfect opportunity to visit local businesses and restaurants before the movie. Movie nights also provide the opportunity to interact with your community members and potential customers for 3 to 4 hours in a relaxing atmosphere. Host a movie night for your potential customers to generate awareness and trial of your business, services and products. With repeated showings, you can generate repeat usage and loyalty among the community. The host and sponsors can also provide samples, brochures, email sign ups, discount coupons and newsletter distribution to audience members on movie night. You can even do a movie "preview" about your company before the movie starts. Other opportunities include working with local businesses to create a movie night food and beverage package that can be purchased before the movie. You can collect a per person charge to offset the cost of the event or collect money to be given to a local charity. You may also want to provide booth space for local businesses before the movie. Our customers have also recognized the community good will movie nights have generated for the host and their sponsors. What movies have you shown for previous events? We have shown many of the same movies that were box office hits such as The Bee Movie, Mamma Mia, Twilight and Kung Fu Panda. We have also shown classics such as Vertigo and Casablanca. We can provide a list of the top movies and suggest themes to go with your event and to suit your sponsors. For example, if your sponsor is a restaurant, you might want to show "Julie and Julia." We always recommend G, PG and PG-13 movies to appeal to the widest audiences. What happens if it rains on my event date? We will reschedule the event for a mutually agreed upon date in the same calendar year. Because we order the movie in advance, we will not be able to refund any money due to bad weather or other unexpected occurrences. If I have an event outside, how dark does it need to be before you can start the movie? We can start the movie approximately 1/2 hour after dusk. The start time varies throughout the year. The latest start times will be the middle of the summer when the sun goes down later in the evening. If I book concessions, can I specify what items I want sold? Yes, if it is available and we have the permit to sell it, we can bring any item you want. Our basic package includes popcorn and the most popular sodas and candies. |
